a)      project and implementation of cryptographic algorithms used for coding/decoding information transmitted between patient and physician

b)      project and implementation of cryptographic algorithms used for storing and protect patient data in Knowledge Management System and DataBase System

c)      project and implementation of authentication algorithms and procedures

d)      hardware implementation of the algorithms mentioned above

2.      Skills and contributions of our organisation.

 

Technical University of Szczecin (TUS) is one of the biggest universities in the West Pomeranian Region. In the same time it is the oldest high school in Szczecin. At the present more than 12 thousand students attend lectures in six faculties: Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology and Faculty of Maritime Technology.

 

The academic staff consists of the scientists and specialists of the highest qualifications. At the Technical University of Szczecin are employed 775 academic teachers. This number includes 429 Professors and Doctors.

 

The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Systems is the youngest Faculty of Technical University of Szczecin. The Faculty staff includes 19 professors, 27 doctors, 105 masters of science and 38 persons of technical, administration and services staff. 

 

The main subjects of applied research of Faculty are:

-         High realty image synthesis animation and virtual reality; hardware-software methods for faster processing in computer graphics

-         Methods and algorithms for image processing and analysis – biometric methods applications

-         Design if digital systems – dynamically programmed processors for computation and image analysis

-         Software solution to logic synthesis from VHDL design description

-         Development of data protection methods, algorithms and procedures

-         Algorithms and software for parallel processing

-         Data transmission in complex computer networks

-         Application of neural networks and direct data aquisition for modelling and control

-         Development of intelligent agent and its application

-         Computer expert and decision making systems
