skill & contribution of Info92

Info92 is a web development software company with a very durable experience on transaction systems and legacy applications. Info92 experience has been developed in the financial and banking areas. We developed lots of software application for the IBM Mainframe platform, for CICS systems, for IBM DB2 and Oracle database management systems.

Since 1999 we started to develop distributed object-oriented software application with web user interfaces and PDA/WAP interfaces. Server side application tiers laying on legacy mainframe systems and departmental Windows/Linux/Solaris based servers.

We have a strong knowledge of JAVA language various API including Java specifications for embedded drivers and for mobile devices. Also, we have solid contacts with the University of L’Aquila, Engineering Faculty, to promote the development of students’ final degree thesis at Info92 offices, working around new technologies exploration and knowledge acquisition to solve on-field problems.

In the last two years Info92 has turned its attention from banking/finance market to other areas, as sustainable development, ecology monitoring systems and agriculture practices and food quality controlling. In 2003, Dr. Pasquale Pezzopane, CEO of Info92, has entered as member, in the ‘Commssion for the Mobilty or Workers and Researchers in the European Community’, at the Italian Department for European Policies.

eHealth is a new area we want to be helped to deal with. I remember that since we expressed our interest in FP6 program (EoI IT104), we put particular attention to the problem of risk-patient health monitoring, independently from its actual location (geographical mobility) by realizing a European network of distributed storage systems accessible from every place, from every country. A network that’s continuously listening patient status, in order to communicate it immediately to the nearer and best health site, ER center, or hospital whenever necessary.

By the way, Info92 is open to offer its collaboration in other research projects.

It should have been a good experience for Info92 if we could participate in the In, Ix2, A1, A3, S1, S2,  T3, T4, D3 activities’ development of the PatiMon NoE project.
