The National Institute of Research and Development in Precision Mechanics-Bucharest ROMANIA was established trough the Romanian Goverment Decision HG 1303/1996, completed with   HG 590/2000 in the base of the 95/1996 law with OG 25/1995, aprooved and acreditated by the special  Comission for this area in concordance with HG 135/1996.

            The National Institute of Research and Development in Precision Mechanics-Bucharest exists since 1971; it is a juridical organism, functioning under the guidance of Romanian Research and Education Ministry, and was established  in the purpose of developing technological, scientifical and research activities.

                  INCDMF has a management quality system certification concordant to ISO 9001:1994. 

 

Considering the aspects of research and development that we treate, the organizatorical structure of the Institute is represented by a Board of Administration and a Scientific Council.

Also, in order to better threat a series of complex projects, our Institute has an inside organisatorical structure formed as a Center of Excellence – CTMMT ; it’s description can be found at: http://www.cefin.ro/centru de excelenta/pg principala.html - most of the personell that we propose for this Network of Excellence being  part of this structure.

 

 

  Activity areas:

The aspects in the precision mechanics domain that we are focused on with our activities incorporates techniqnes and procedures of measurement, equipments and measuring devices in the electric and non-electric fields, medical devices,investigation and analysis equipments, laboratory equipment, precision tools and devices, software aplications included in mechatronic equipments and specific micromechanic and mechatronic elements. Also,  software is being developed for a variety of research projects.

The specific activities developed in National Institute of Research and Development in Precision Mechanics are:

Research and development activities:

A.1. For the national programes of scientific research, technical development and inovation, the Institute is realizing with a major implication fundamental and applicative research with a national and public interes, witch concernes:

methods and tehnologies for measurements and control of the testings quality;

computerized control systems and quality assurance systems;

methods and techniques for higher reliability and capability of products and industrial processes;

colaboration at the national standards elaboration process;

new materials and tehnologies (nonconventional or base technologies);

research in engineering quality;

design and execution of stands for these domains;

equipments and devices for health monitoring – with the mention that a department for projects in health exists in the Institute since 1992.

 

A.2. Aplicative research for solving problems in our area of activity:

development of experimental technique and laboratory measurements;

technologies and procedures elaboration for investigatigating and testing production procesess;

at the economic agents requests, execution of  a diversity of products and technologies specific to our area of activity;

market studies and stagies, reliability studies, diagnosys and prognosys studies, technical and scientific sinthesys;

informatical activities, software development, data-base applications;

activities for the implementation of quality management in units with same profile.

Short description of the organisation.
